Full, Associate, Day & Honorary Membership, Challenge Tour, DRA Fee. and PDPA Membership Document Downloads
Full PDPA Membership: Full PDPA Membership is for players who have a current PDC Tour Card: You will be entitled to full voting rights after a full 2 years of membership and use of all PDPA benefits and partners deals immediately, you will also have FREE Public Indemnity Insurance as part of your membership. Your DRA Sanction fee of £30 is also required see bottom of page. Full PDPA Membership inclusive of full voting rights and PDPA benefits and partner deals is also given to Non-Playing Full Members i.e. Honorary or Directors.
Honorary Membership: Is FREE but to play in any PDC qualifier i.e. UK Open Regional or World Darts Championship qualifier, you must have registered and played in the PDC Q-School in 2017 and have an up to date PDC playing contract. To play as a Tour Card holder you would firstly have had to qualify through Q-School, then have an up to date PDC playing contract.
Associate PDPA Membership: Any player who enters and plays in the 2017 PDC Q-School, but does not gain a Tour Card will be an Associate Member of the PDPA and will be ranked on the Q-School Order of Merit Table (QSOoM).
NOTE: Players who play in the William Hill World Championship but do not play at Q-School also fall into this category. Associate Members are eligible to play in UK Open Qualifiers, European Tour Qualifiers, The PDPA World Darts Championship Qualifier, along with the PDC Challenge Tour.
Non-UK members who are not Tour Card holders also fall into this category. Associate Members are also eligible to register for entry in UK Players Championships before each entry deadline and will be informed by the PDC after the deadline if their entry has been accepted. Entries from Associate Members are only accepted in the event of a shortfall of the 128 and based on their QSOoM Table Ranking. Those ranked higher will be accepted first. Challenge Tour Only: If you wish to just play the 16 PDC Challenge Tour events of 2017 you can do so without being a PDPA Member. All you need to do is register by paying the £250 registration fee, and your £30 DRA Sanction Fee. Once you have done so you will be sent your servasport log-in details, then you can enter any of the 16 PDC Challenge Tour events only. There is no entry deadline for the Challenge Tour Registration, this can be done at any time. This means you can only play in the 16 Challenge Tour events you would not be eligible to enter any PDC Events for members. i.e. Players Championships – ET Qualifiers – UK Open Qualifiers – GSoD Qualifier – PDPA WC Qualifier – WS Qualifier
Q-School entrants who did play at Q-School also fall into this category and also do not need to register or pay to play on the Challenge Tour, however you are classed as an Associate PDPA Member SEE ABOVE
Day PDPA Membership: Non PDPA Members can play as Day Members in European & Host Nation Qualifiers at European Darts Tour events only with the payment of a PDPA supplement as part of their entry fee (some restrictions apply). See PDC Rules
NOTE: In 2017 to play in ET Qualifiers, you can enter as a day member once only then you are subject to the new European Tour Associate Membership details (TBC).
Free Membership: Any player who wins a 2 year Tour Card by virtue of an invitation via the Challenge Tour or Development Tour must be aware that your first year only is FREE with only your DRA Sanction Fee required in both years, the second year of your Tour Card full PDPA membership is required by the deadline date (Usually Start of that years PDC Q-School)
Age Restriction: Applicants must be aged 16 or over to be a Member of the Professional Dart Players Association. ID may be asked to verify age. See PDPA constitution. However players under 18 must be aware of the UK licensing laws in the venues we use and must adhere to these.
Honorary Members Fee No annual fee, however a current PDC playing contract must be signed to play in any PDC event and players will need to register and play at the PDC Q-School at the start of the season to be eligible to play during the season. You can play in any amateur qualifiers which take place for the UK Open if you have not played at Q-School and are therefore not a current playing Member.
Full Members Fee: You are a Full PDPA Member if you are invited onto the PDC Pro-Tour i.e. you are in the Top 64 on the PDC Order of Merit as of the cut off date (Following the conclusion of all 2016 events i.e. 2-1-17), are an invite and you fulfil the criteria, OR **you qualify via the PDC Q-School. **Please note**: If you qualify for a 2 year PDC Tour Card at Q-School you will be required to pay an Upgrade Fee of £250 after Q-School to bring your total fees paid to £500
DRA Sanction Fee: All PDPA Members are required in 2017 to pay a DRA Sanction Fee supplement of £30 per player. Full Details of this sanction fee is on your PDPA Website and will also be sent to you.
Managers/Agents Licence: From January 2016, the DRA launched the Managers and Agents Licence, you will not be eligible to compete in DRA sanctioned events if your Manager/Agent does not have a licence. As a player you are obliged to forward this on to any person acting as your manager or agent.

Some Managers or Agents may already have this information, but it is your responsibility to make sure they have it so they can register. These licence fees are they to protect everyone and will be strictly adhered to, any player/manager who does not conform to this licence will be referred to the DRA and risk serious sanctions.
Associate Member Fee: (Q-School Entry Fee). You are an Associate Member if you did not qualify for the pro-tour but played in the Q-School and are on the QSOoM Table. Also for players who join during the season, or Non-UK Based members without a Tour Card.
Day Membership Fee: Day membership is only available in events outside the UK, your fee as a Day Member is your entry fee to the event either via the qualifiers or the main draw paid to your local organiser. Entry into events as a Day Member constitutes acceptance of all PDC, PDPA and DRA rules.
Membership Entry Deadlines are as follows: All Membership subscriptions and Q-School Entries are required by Monday 16th January 2017 at 2pm, with the following cut-off date applicable to those winning a Tour Card. If you qualify for a Tour Card at Q-School you will have a further 7 days from the cut off date of Membership to register your Full Membership (i.e. acceptance of the Card and your place on the Main Tour) i.e. 12.00 (noon) on 23rd January 2017 otherwise your place will be offered to another player on the QSOoM Table.
Termination of PDPA Membership: If you decide to not participate in any further PDC events in 2017, that is your choice, The PDPA will not provide you or anyone else with any resignation letters or confirmations of Membership. A full list of current members will be shown on the website for reference or confirmation of status. If you wish to play PDC Challenge Tour events ‘ONLY’ please register by paying the fee below and you will be classed as a ‘Challenge Tour Only Player’
Challenge Tour Registration is £250 & £30 DRA Sanction Fee.
If you entered Q-School, you do not need to pay this fee.
Full PDPA Membership is £500 & £30 DRA Sanction Fee.
