Neurotracker ‘SSI’
The PDPA and Neurotracker have joined forces to offer its members the scientific approach to our sport.
Neurotracker for darts
Neurotracker is a scientifically proven technology which improves focus, attention and concentration and enables users to perform better under high pressure situations.
Users include leading sporting organisations around the world including Premier League clubs, world champion boxers, martial artists and F1 Drivers. It is also used by the US Navy Seals after they took away a system for 6 months then ordered more systems which proves that it works with these guys who are making life and death decisions under intense pressure.
Neurotracker is not a vision based technology, it actually trains the brain to process visual information quicker so that gives the user more time to make correct decisions as well as improving concentration even under intense pressure. It will also help to block out distractions which could be a real game changer for high class darts players.
Each session takes around 8 minutes and we recommend that you do at least 3-5 sessions per week or more if possible. If you think of it as a gym for the brain, you will find that after you have done around 20-30 sessions you will start to notice changes in your focus and concentration again all of which could give you that extra percentage which could prove to be the difference between winning and losing.
You can use it whilst travelling on your laptop or tablet and you can also connect to a large tv at home which will also help to improve your peripheral vision and allow you to add “motor skills” ie, have somebody throw a ball to you whilst you are Neurotracking and where you will usually find that your scores will drop as you are distracted but eventually your scores will get better even when distracted. This will then help you to perform better in high pressure situations as it will seem like it is second nature for you.
From July 2018 ‘The PDPA’ have chosen 10 players for a 3 month FREE Trail of Neurotracker.
