Players Championship 13 & 14 Event Brief:
Entries:
The PDC Players Championship events are FREE ENTRY and are for any Tour Card holder, and any CTOoM players in order of precedence for any shortfalls from the 128 Tour Card places who have entered prior to the deadline. These CTOoM players will be informed after the deadline if they are in the event.
Registration and Toe the Oche:
Players must register at the PDC Registration desk before 11.00am on Tuesday and Wednesday at the latest, It is the players responsibility to make sure your name is crossed off and registered, and not just to walk past and expect it to be, the draw and schedule of play will then take place and games will commence at 12.00 Noon on Tuesday & Wednesday.
The draw will be available on the TV screens in the venue, with an A-Z of player's names and drawn board. You must be at your board when your game is due, or you may risk disqualification.
Please keep your eye on the board and when you are due to play. The PDC reserves the right to amend the schedule of play if necessary; any amendments will be posted on the website and in the venue.
Registration times for Tuesday 30th April/Wednesday 1st May:
09:00 - Doors will open to players and their guest
09:00/11:00 Registration, any player not registered by 11.00 will not be in the draw for the that day
11.00 - Registration closes and draw takes place
12:00 - Event Begins
18.00 - Event Concludes (Approximately)
Notice for all PDPA Members on registering your Pro-Tour Guest Passes:
Players will only be allocated TWO NON-TRANSFERABLE bona-fide guest each PDC Players Championship event and they must provide their names and days attending to the Tournament Director Graham Fairhurst via email or call the number underneath no later that 10pm on the Wednesday prior to the mid-week events (Wednesday 14th February). If your guest details are not provided, their entry to the event may be refused.

Please note that no one wearing football shirts or shorts of any kind are allowed. Tracksuit bottoms or joggers will be at the discretion of staff if you have a valid reason i.e. a medical issue etc (A medical certificate may be required) No children under 11 years old will be admitted. ID for proof of age may be required. Players need to note that their guests are their responsibility, and they need to make sure that they dress and act appropriately.
Streaming:
PDC Players Championship events are streamed. Players need to be aware of this and continue to follow all rules and regulations. Players will be informed ASAP if they are on a streamed board.
PDC Players Championship are seeded events. All other players are drawn at random.

Playing Format:
The format is best of 11 legs throughout; the player on the left of the draw will throw first for the bull to determine who throws first in odd-numbered legs.

Prize Money:
Is paid by BACS to the account you have provided details for on the PDC Bank Details Form, and are usually paid within 2 weeks of the event. If you have not provided your bank details please download the form from CLICK HERE
Bank Forms:
PDC Bank forms will be issued to all new players at the Tour Card Induction, and at all events. You must only provide your own bank details or if you have a licensed agent or your parent/guardian. Proof of your account may be needed to verify it is your account.
Players Behaviour:
Players are reminded about their behaviour and it is your own responsibility to behave in an acceptable manner. Players must not drink alcohol in the playing area, bottled water only is allowed (Not in Glasses) The tournament director has the power to stop a game and award the game to the opponent of any player whom the tournament director decides is behaving in a way which is damaging to the sport, the PDC, the PDPA, its sponsors or broadcasters.
Rules & Dress Code:
These events will be played under Darts Regulation Authority Rules, and in accordance with the PDC Order of Merit rules which are available at www.pdc.tv The full DRA Rule Book is available at www.thedra.co.ukQueries regarding individual attire should be addressed to the ProTour Manager ahead of the event you are participating in.
With regards to footwear, the DRA rule 5.17.1 applies: Players are not permitted to wear jeans: Neither shall they wear trousers or skirts made with courdroy material which has been fashioned in a "Jeans Style". No training shoes will be allowed unless the player provides written medical reasons from a qualified practitioner. The restriction shall apply to any form of "Track Suit" attire. The final decision will rest with the Tournament Director.
Alcoholic Drinks:
Players Please Note: Please be aware that no players or guests are allowed to bring alcoholic drinks into the venue FULL STOP for any of these events. All players and guests will be subject to a bag search by PDC Security before admission to the venue is granted. Only alcoholic drinks bought inside the venue are allowed to be consumed. If you have any alcohol in your bag you need to remove it prior to entering the arena, or you may be subject to a DRA referral.
Smoking & Drinking:
Under UK Law, smoking is not permitted inside this venue. Smokers should use the designated smoking areas outside of the building. Players are only permitted to drink water during a match. No other drinks can be consumed during a match; this includes having a drink from the table behind you whilst your opponent is throwing or between legs. This rule will be strictly observed.
Any player under the age of 18 drinking alcohol will be immediately eliminated from the event, and will be seen to be bringing the game into disrepute. This also includes those over 18s seen to be supplying alcoholic drinks to players under 18.
Players are not allowed to drink any alcohol during play, this includes a break of play i.e. toilet break etc or you will be disqualified and refered to the DRA. Only bottled water is allowed to be consumed during play.
Internet Browsing:
You must switch off your phone when you enter the arena: No internet browsing devices are allowed in the playing area, this includes mobile phones, tablets and PCs. There are also no cameras allowed in the playing area this includes cameras, videos and phones with cameras. The Tournament Directors decision is final.
