The schedule of play has been confirmed for the 2021 Ladbrokes Masters, which will commence on Friday January 29 in Milton Keynes.

 

The £220,000 tournament has been expanded to feature 24 players this year, with the first round seeing the players ranked from 9-24 on the PDC Order of Merit facing off. The action will begin as Ian White plays Mensur Suljovic on Friday January 29, before Premier League champion Glen Durrant meets Players Championship Finals runner-up Mervyn King.

World Matchplay champion Dimitri Van den Bergh then plays Chris Dobey, before Krzysztof Ratajski takes on Simon Whitlock and two former Masters finalists - Michael Smith and Adrian Lewis - then face off.

Daryl Gurney then meets Jeffrey de Zwaan, while Grand Slam champion Jose de Sousa takes on World Cup winner Jonny Clayton, before Joe Cullen's tie with Stephen Bunting completes the first round.

The second round is split across two sessions on Saturday January 30, with former champion James Wade starring in the afternoon session before Peter Wright begins his title defence in the evening, when Gerwyn Price steps out as World Champion for the first time.

Have you arranged your Covid Test prior to entering England:

If you are entering England through any borders you need to have a NEGATIVE Covid Test to enter. This needs to be a valid test PCR not an NHS or GOV App test? Make sure this is no longer than 72 hours prior to departing for England. You do not need to take a test if you began your journey to England from: Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales, the Isle of Man, Jersey, Guernsey, Ascension, Falkland Islands, St Helena

What type of test is needed:

The type of test required needs to be a PCR Test, LAMP or Antigen Test.

Test for return home:

Have you arranged for a test for returning home after the event: There is an option at the Medicspot which is close to Milton Keynes in Bedford Click Here for the link. You can also contact them via email tests@medicspot.co.uk This Covid test centre is conveniently located in Bedford town centre. You can drive and park using nearby facilities, or walk from the train station. It is a 'Fit to Fly' test. You arrange to pick it up, self test and drop back to them by 14.00hrs for results e-mailed by midnight the following day. This test is required if you are travelling back to Ireland, USA and Canada and most of mainland Europe but is not required for Northern Ireland, IOM. Some European countries only need the rapid test which can be done at the airport.

Quarantine:

Make sure you are fully aware of the full quarantine restrictions for your own region/country for when you return. For arrival in England please make sure you go direct to the hotel and keep all your documents ready including your PDC Letter and test result.

Have you received your PDC Letter to aid with travel:

This is an exemption letter, and will outline the health protocols in place, the event you are attending, its bubble status and DCMS exemption in a return to elite sport etc? If you have not received this, please contact Hayley at the PDC hayley.upward@pdc.tv

Testing when you arrive at MK:

This information has been sent to all players direct including your time slots, 4pm will be the latest time for testing on Thursday.

Positive Test:

If you return a positive test result, you must leave site immediately and return home to self-isolate for 10 days. The testing company will notify Public Health England of your result. Non UK players who test positive will be required to make arrangements to self-isolate in the UK for 10 days before returning home.

DoubleTree Hotel at MK:

Make sure you book your hotel via hayley.upward@pdc.tv at the PDC ONLY, you are not allowed to book this hotel any other way or stay at any other hotel, you must also stay at the hotel to be eligible to play in this event.

Follow all current health guidelines to stay safe: Face masks, social distancing, wash your hands regularly, use hand sanitiser, and do not travel if you have tested positive for Covid-19 or you have any symptoms.

Getting to Milton Keynes

The easiest way to reach MK by road is via the M1. If you are coming from the North get off at Junction 14, or from the South, Junction 13. If using the A5 exit at Redmoor Roundabout and follow the signs for Stadium MK. If travelling by train the three closest stations are Milton Keynes Central, Bletchley, and Fenny Stratford.

Getting to Stadium MK

The stadium is 7 minutes from Junction 13 of the M1, and 10 minutes from Junction 14. Follow the brown road signs for Stadium MK when using the  A5 or A421 (H8 Standing Way). Milton Keynes is built on a grid system of H Roads (horizontal) and V roads (vertical), we are between V6 Grafton Street and V7 Saxon Street.

Parking

There are 1,450 parking spaces around Stadium MK, so there are plenty to choose from. Parking at Stadium MK varies on matchdays and for large events, where traffic management will be in operation and charges may apply.

Milton Keynes is the centre point between London, Birmingham, Oxford and Cambridge. We’re just 35 minutes by train from Central London, and well-served by London Luton airport, just over half an hour's drive away.
