Travelling to Germany:

The UK is no longer designated as a ‘high-risk area’. If any travellers entering Germany having spent time in the previous ten days in a country designated at the time of entry as a high-risk or virus variant area are required to complete pre-departure digital registration, regardless of vaccination status.

From 20 February 2022 pre-departure digital registration is NOT required for travellers from the UK. You may enter Germany from the UK for any travel purpose if you are fully vaccinated.

An FFP2 mask is required to be worn when moving around the venue, unless seated.

NOTE: If you are fully vaccinated and you have had your booster, no issues in entering Germany, if you have not had your booster you must make sure that your second vaccination is within the 270 day window or if recovered within the 90 day limit otherwise you will need an antigen test to arrive in Germany.

Returning to the UK:

If you will arrive in England after 4am, Friday 18 March, you do not need to take any COVID-19 travel tests or fill in a UK passenger locator form. This will apply whether you are vaccinated or not.

Nearest Airport:

Hanover (HAJ) 48 km (32 miles) from the venue. Click Here for MAP. 30-35 Minutes Drive. You can also go direct from the Airport via train to Hildesheim but can take over an hour via Hannover main station.

A taxi, which can be costly but if in a group OK or a Pre-Booked transfer is best option.
