The 2018 PDC Unicorn Challenge Tour is for PDPA Associate Members ONLY, there will be no Challenge Tour only membership in 2018.
Eligibility: To be eligible to play on the Challenge Tour you will have needed to play at least once at either the UK or European Q-School.
Players Championship: In a change from 2017, any player who is on the CTOoM Table can enter FREE any PDC Players Championship event, and the 128 shortfall will be done in order of precedence from this CTOoM table to fill the 128.
European Tour: For UK based players only, to enter any ET UK Qualifier you must be in the top 32 of this table to be eligible to enter on the deadline date of the ET, and these are also FREE entries.

These are the final Challenge Tour events of 2018. You must enter these events prior to 2pm on Friday 9th November 2018 to enter please go to the Servasport entry system CLICK HERE
Registration and Toe the Oche:
Players must register at the PDC Registration desk before 09.30am at the latest, the draw and schedule of play will then take place and games will commence at 10.30 unless otherwise stated.
The draw will be available on the TV screens in the venue, with an A-Z of player’s names and drawn board. You must be at your board when your game is due, or you may risk disqualification.
Please keep your eye on the board and when you are due to play. The PDC reserves the right to amend the schedule of play if necessary; any amendments will be posted on the website and in the venue.
Timings are the same for Saturday & Sunday:
08:00 - Doors will open to players and their guest
08:00/09:30 Registration (Any player not registered by 09.30am will not be in the draw for the first event of the day)
09.30 - Registration closes and the draw takes place
10:30 - Event Begins
13.00 - Registration closes for the second event of the day, if you have registered for event one you do not need to register again, this is for players who are only playing in the second event of the day.
18.30 - Events Conclude (Approximately)
All Challenge Tour events are drawn at random.

Important Notice for all players registering your Guests: Players will be allowed TWO NON-TRANSFERABLE bona-fide guest each at these Challenge Tours and must provide their names to the security on registration. If your guest details are not provided, their entry to the event may be refused.
Please note that no one wearing football shirts or shorts of any kind are allowed. Tracksuit bottoms or joggers will be at the discretion of staff if you have a valid reason i.e. a medical issue etc (A medical certificate may be required) No children under 11 years old will be admitted. ID for proof of age may be required. Players need to note that their guests are their responsibility, and they need to make sure that they dress and act appropriately.
The format is best of 9 legs throughout; the player on the left of the draw will throw first for the bull to determine who throws first in odd-numbered legs.

Prize money payments:
Is paid by BACS to the account you have provided details for on the PDC Bank Details Form. If you have not provided your details please email the PDPA [email protected] or the PDC Accounts Department [email protected] and ask for a form.
Players must be aware that you are not allowed to put a third parties bank details on your form, unless they are a registered agent or your parent/guardian. You may be asked for proof.
These forms will also be available at the events and MUST BE SIGNED BY THE PLAYER Prize money is paid via bacs usually within 2 weeks following the events.
Players are reminded about their behaviour and it is your own responsibility to behave in an acceptable manner. Players must not drink alcohol in the playing area, bottled water only is allowed (Not in Glasses) The tournament director has the power to stop a game and award the game to the opponent of any player whom the tournament director decides is behaving in a way which is damaging to the sport, the PDC, the PDPA, its sponsors or broadcasters.
Rules & Dress Code:
These events will be played under Darts Regulation Authority Rules, and in accordance with the PDC Order of Merit rules which are available at www.pdc.tv The full DRA Rule Book is available at www.thedra.co.ukQueries regarding individual attire should be addressed to the ProTour Manager ahead of the event you are participating in.
With regards to footwear, the DRA rule 5.17.1 applies: Players are not permitted to wear jeans: Neither shall they wear trousers or skirts made with corduroy material which has been fashioned in a "Jeans Style". No training shoes will be allowed unless the player provides written medical reasons from a qualified practitioner. The restriction shall apply to any form of "Track Suit" attire. The final decision will rest with the Tournament Director.
Players Please Note: Please be aware that no players or guests are allowed to bring alcoholic drinks into the venue FULL STOP for any of these events. All players and guests will be subject to a bag search by PDC Security before admission to the venue is granted. Only alcoholic drinks bought inside the venue are allowed to be consumed. If you have any alcohol in your bag you need to remove it prior to entering the arena, or you may be subject to a DRA referral.
Smoking & Drinking:
Under UK Law, smoking is not permitted inside this venue. Smokers should use the designated smoking areas outside of the building. Players are only permitted to drink water during a match. No other drinks can be consumed during a match; this includes having a drink from the table behind you whilst your opponent is throwing or between legs. This rule will be strictly observed.
Any player under the age of 18 drinking alcohol will be immediately eliminated from the event, and will be seen to be bringing the game into disrepute. This also includes those over 18 seen to be supplying alcoholic drinks to players under 18. Players are not allowed to drink any alcohol during play, this includes a break of play i.e. toilet break etc. or you will be disqualified and referred to the DRA. Only bottled water is allowed for consumption during play, not a glass with water in.
No Internet browsing devices are allowed in the playing area, this includes mobile phones, tablets and PCs. There are also no cameras allowed in the playing area this includes cameras, videos and phones with cameras. The Tournament Directors decision is final.
All phones must be switched off on arrival: If you need to make a call or use your device for any other reason please go outside away from the playing area, and switch it back off when returning.

Peterborough is located on the East Coast Main line running from London Kings Cross to Edinburgh. A number of fast trains run on this network, making London accessible in 45 minutes on specific trains.

Travelling from Peterborough City Centre – take the Nene Parkway/A1260, follow directions to Oundle Road/A605 and turn right onto this road, which will lead you directly to the venue. The brown highway signs indicating East of England Showground will help to guide you. The journey is approximately 16 minutes from the centre of Peterborough.
Travelling from the A1(M) South – continue along the A1(M), passing the Peterborough Services (Extra MSA); continue forward onto the A1 and then take the next turn left, signposted East of England Showground. At the junction with the A605, turn left and travel half a mile. At the roundabout, turn right, and you have arrived at Peterborough Arena.
Travelling from the A1(M) North – ignore the very first signpost for Peterborough and continue travelling along the A1 picking up the brown highways signposts indicating East of England Showground. Follow these signs and leave the A1 at Alwalton, taking you through the village and onto the A605 Oundle Road junction. Turn left at this junction and at the very next roundabout, turn right and you’ve arrived at Peterborough Arena.
By Public Transport
Peterborough City Centre has a number of taxi ranks, as well as a coach park and bus station located within the Queensgate Centre. The Stagecoach bus service runs an hourly service during the week and two-hourly Sunday service, stopping just outside Peterborough Arena. The bus numbers to look for are x4and 24 leaving Bay 15 at Queensgate, Peterborough.
The bus stop is located on the main road fronting the venue (Oundle Road). A five to 10-minute walk will bring you to our main entrance gate.
East of England Arena’s location makes it central for London Stansted, London Luton, East Midlands and Birmingham airports – all four are approximately 60-90 minutes away by car.
