Template - Date: In Your Corner (MHC)

Here at the PDPA we are committed to getting more people to be in their mate’s corner if they’re needed. So play a part by sharing the film on social media, your website, with your staff, or anything else.

By sharing this one-minute film and campaign, you play a big part in a movement that’s changing how we all think and act about mental health.

We want more people to be in their mate’s corner if they’re needed – in particular, men. So, the more shares, views, comments, likes and conversations you create, the more people will know how to be there for their mates.

Thank you.

1 in 4 of us will fight a mental health problem this year. Without someone in their corner, people with mental health problems can lose what they care about most: their job, their families and friends, their home.

So if your mate’s acting differently, step in. We believe having a mate in your corner can make all the difference when fighting a mental health problem.

It’s too easy to dismiss mental health problems as something that happen to other people. But it can happen to any of us. So, if your mate’s acting differently, step in. Now’s the time you’re needed most.

Team work is vital. When it comes to mental health, be there for your mates. It can be as simple as texting ‘How are you?’

#inyourcorner

In Your Corner is a five-year campaign, so the effort doesn’t stop after launch. We want to change a nation’s attitudes and alter the way the next generation thinks about mental health.

Are there other ways you could get these important messages to more men?
