Template - Date: JDC Scholarship Weekend

A weekend of darts at the Crowne Plaza Resort in Essex began as Jarred Cole won Event Six of the Modus UK Junior Darts Tour. With Jim Moston & Maikel Verberk winning through to play at the Alexandra Palace to contest the final and Brown, Paxton and Gurr winning PDPA Scholarships.

The “Super Saturday” then saw the year’s six event winners joined by qualifiers from the JDC Order of Merit and JDC Academy Order of Merit play in the early stages of the Grand Final. The semi-finals saw Stoke’s Moston – who won September’s Junior European Championship – defeat Tyler Radlett to secure his place in the final, with Dutch teenager Verberk overcoming Adam Howard.

Moston and Verberk will now play the final on stage at Alexandra Palace on Saturday December 17 for the right to succeed Josh Richardson as JDC Champion.
