
BECOMING A MEMBER OF THE PDPA
PDPA membership is for a whole season/calendar year (i.e. 1st January – 31st December), any player who joins during the year/season is still however, required to pay the membership in full until the end of that year/season.
(Note; If you have qualified for the World Championships as a non-member, a declaration form to deduct your membership fee is required prior to playing in this event, the fee entitles you to membership until 31st December the following season)
Any player who has not either paid their membership, or signed the declaration form to deduct the fee from their prize money will have their membership terminated on 1st January)
Membership is normally processed within a full working week. All applicants for membership are required to sign the PDPA constitution, PDPA code of conduct, DRA acceptance form and a PDC contract to participate in any PDC event.
The PDPA constitution form is attached to the membership application form.
The PDPA code of conduct, DRA acceptance form and PDC contract are enclosed in the player’s pack which will be dispatched once application is approved.
Age restriction
All applicants must be aged 18 or over, however applicants aged 16-18 will be accepted on the understanding of any licensing law restrictions in certain venues and events. SEE CONSTITUTION
Fees
For The 2010 Season i.e. January 1st 2010 - 31st December 2010 (New Membership) £400.00
For The 2011 Season i.e. January 1st 2011 - 31st December 2011 (All Membership) £400
2011 Is the commencement of the PDC Pro-Tour, all membership for the 2011 season is required to be paid in full by 31st December 2010, or by WC prize money deduction.
Note: No PDPA Memberships will be taken after 31st December 2010 for a period of 10 days (Window) for the 2011 PDC Pro-Tour Season i.e. up to 10th January 2011, after this date no PDPA memberships will be taken until the following season
Termination
Termination of membership is accepted in writing to ‘The PDPA’
To play in The UK Open qualifiers, any former PDPA member is required to have been a non-member for a period of 2 years, from the date of PDPA termination to playing in the qualifiers.
PDPA Membership is for the whole year i.e. Jan-Dec, any resignations or terminations will only be accepted by the PDPA at the end of that year unless under extreme circumstances determined by the PDPA.
From 1st January 2010 any former PDPA member is not eligible to play as a day member for a period of 1 year (12 Months) from lapse of their membership.
Types of Membership
Full PDPA Membership; entitles any player to play in any PDC event or qualifier Except UK Open (Q), receive all members benefits, official partners discounts, have full voting rights, attend PDPA AGM, and all other membership rights.
Honorary membership; As above with no fee.
Associate Membership; entitles any non-player to membership benefits and discounts only.
Day Membership; entitles a player to participate in a PDC event (via a Qualifier) with restrictions and supplements only in their country of residence (Non-UK) SEE PDC RULES
