THE Dutch Darts Masters European Tour event will now be

staged at the Van Der Valk Hotel in Nuland from October 26-28.

The fifth of the £82,100 European Tour events sees this year’s series of tournaments, which have previously been held in Austria and Germany, come to a close in the Netherlands.

Having originally been planned to be held in Egmond-Aan-Zee, the Dutch Darts Masters has now moved to be held at the Van Der Valk Hotel in Nuland.

Play will commence on Friday October 26, with the first round being held across two sessions with play on two stages before the action then focuses on the main stage. The second round will be held across two sessions on Saturday October 27, with the third round being held in the afternoon session on Sunday October 28 and the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final taking place in the evening session.

The tournament will feature 64 players competing for the £15,000 first prize,

with the top 32 players from the PDC Order of Merit (as at September 23) who

enter automatically qualifying for the first round.

The UK Qualifier, which will provide 20 players for the field, will be held on Friday October 5 at the Citywest Hotel in Dublin ahead of the Players Championship events and PartyPoker.com World Grand Prix.

Dutch stars Raymond van Barneveld, Vincent van der Voort and Michael van Gerwen will all be guaranteed a place in the event due to their ranking inside the world’s top 32.

The Host Nation Qualifier will see the likes of Co Stompe – who has slipped to 36th in the world – Roland Scholten and emerging young stars Gino Vos, Jerry Hendriks and Mareno Michels battling for places alongside them in their home event.

Tickets for the Dutch Darts Masters will be available via PDC Europe and can be purchased online through www.pdc-europe.net.

The Host Nation Qualifier will be held on Saturday October 13 in Rosmalen, with four places on offer for Dutch players, while the European Qualifier will be held on the same day in Bielefeld, Germany.
