The 2013 PDC Q-School has been announced and will take place at the Robin Park Arena, Sports and Tennis Centre. Loire Drive, Newtown, Wigan, Lancashire, WN5 0UH, UK Tel: 01942 828550 (Opposite Wigan FC ‘DW’)

This the 3rd PDC Q-School will take place from Thursday 17th-Sunday 20th January 2013, the event will include 4 seperate 1 day events with registration at 11am each day to toe the oche at 12 Noon. (Full Details of the format to be announced)

Previous Q-School qualifiers include Dave Chisnall, John Henderson, Dean Winstanley & Joe Cullen who have made their mark as professionals on the PDC Tour with Chisnall already in the top 16 of the World Rankings earning over £140,000 in the process.

The Semi-Finalists from each days play will receive PDC Tour Cards for 2 years TBC, with any further remaining places being taken from the QSOoM Table following the completion of the 4 days play at Q-School. Points will be won for placings on each day, with legs difference used in the event of any ties.

Following the Ladbrokes World Darts Championships which concludes on the 2nd January the top 64 players in the PDC Order of Merit will be offered PDC Tour Cards for the 2013 season. A further 39 places are also already taken from the 2012 Q-School from the original 40 as Dean Winstanley has already risen into the top 64, these 39 players are into the second and final year of their Tour Card.

2 of the 3 Unicorn Youth Tour 2011 invites are also into their second and final year Paul Barham & Reece Robinson with James Hubbard certain to be in the top 64. Other invites in 2013 will come from the Scandinavian Order of Merit Table (1), Lakeside Semi-Finalists (4) TBC and the 2012 Unicorn PDC Youth Tour Merit Table (2).

Players who earn a PDC Tour Card will be able to compete on the PDC circuit and play for over £5 Million in prize money, all other players will remain associate members for the remainder of the year, and will be entered onto the QSOoM ‘Q-School Order of Merit Table’ by virtue of their placing from Q-School and can play in:

*All 8 UK Open Qualifiers

*All 7 European Darts Tour Qualifiers EDT ‘Q’

*The PDPA World Championship Qualifier in 2013

*Any other Non-UK Players Championships i.e. Dublin/Killarney

*Plus, enter any PDC Players Championships and if their is a shortfall in entries i.e. less than 128 places the remaining places will be taken from the QSOoM  Table, if you have entered prior to the entry deadline.
