Fleetwoods Wesley Newton added to his already impressive tally with a 6 legs to 2 win over inform Justin Pipe.

Newton won 5 consequetive legs to win from 1-2 down against Pipe who was on the back of his Austrian Open win last weekend.

Newton started the day with 6-1 wins over Richie Walsh and Tonm Jones, before a 6-3 win over Gary Butcher and a 6-1 over Andrew Cornwall moved him to the last eight.

6-3 wins over Scot Robert Thornton & ‘Pieman’ Andy Smith moved him into another PDC Tour Final.

Pipe who had a harder route to the final started in the preliminary rounds with a 6-3 win over Chris Mason before a 6-2 over Scot John Henderson, 6-4 against Scott Rand and 6-4 over John Bott & Colin Osbourne moved him into the quarter finals.

Two further wins over emerging youth stars James Hubbard 6-3 & Joe Cullen 6-0 moved the Taunton man into another Final before the loss to Newton.
