England’s Phil Taylor & Adrian Lewis powered to World Cup glory with a fantastic win in the Cash Converters World Cup of Darts defeating the Australian pairing of Simon Whitlock & Paul Nicholson in a sudden death decider.

England led 3-0 with wins from Phil Taylor against Paul Nicholson 7-4. Adrian Lewis 7-5 against Simon Whitlock and Phil Taylor 7-6 in a close match against Paul Nicholson.

Australia then fought back with Paul Nicholson beating current World Champion Adrian Lewis 7-4, then the Aussie pairing winning the pairs to take it to a sudden death decider.

Phil Taylor eventually wins the bull but only set off with 60, both teams looked obviously nervous during the leg which showed when all 4 players missed the winning double for glory.

But Lewis who couldnt watch when all the doubles were being missed dug deep to break the Aussie hearts and hit double 5 to win the Cash Converters PDC World Cup of Darts.
