Youth players Arron Monk and Joe Cullen won through the PDPA Ladbrokes World Darts Qualifier in Wigan today.
Monk will be in the 1st round draw tommorrow after beating Cullen 5-3 in the final, Cullen will play in the Prelims against Oliver Ferenc.
Chris Thompson beat Tony Ayres in the 3rd place play – off 5-3 and will be the event reserve.
Monk beat Chris Thompson in semi-final one to get through with a hard fought 5-3 against the yorkshire man.
Joe Cullen after coming back from 1-4 down against twice former World Champion Denis Priestley to win 5-4 and finally 5-2 against Tony Ayres who had sneeked past Peter Manley in the previous round to get his place at the Alexandra Palace in December.
Both will now make their debuts in the World Championships at the Alexandra Palace, the preliminary draw has already taken place (Below) and the full draw will be live on SKY Sports News tommorrow at 12.00 Noon.
