The ‘Grand Slam of Darts’ qualifiers which takes place on Friday November 4th at the K2 Leisure Centre in Crawley will feature a maximum field of 256.

The qualifier which gives 2 wild card entries to darts players is open to PDPA members and Non-PDPA members.

Entry fee is £25 and members can enter via the normal PDC on line  entry system.

Entries close at 12.00pm on Wednesday November 2nd 2011, the event is due to commence at 6pm but full confirmation will be announced in due course.

The Grand Slam of Darts, is to be shown live on SKY Sports from Saturday the 12th November 2011 till Sunday the 20th November 2011 at the Civic Hall in Wolverhampton. Phil Taylor had a hat trick of wins in 2008, 2009 & 2010 before Scott Waites win over James Wade in last years final broke the ‘Powers’ stranglehold on the event.

SKY Sports have taken over the event from ITV4 who showed the first 4 years of the event which features players from the PDC & the BDO. The £100,000 prize is on offer for the winner, the event also features a round robin group before moving on to the KO stage in the last 16.
