The Killarney Darts Festival, which takes place over the weekend of the 14th-16th October 2011 is one of the most popular darts events in Ireland. The event which features the John McEvoy PDC Players Championships also features the Irish Masters, the PDC Youth Tour and a Ladies event. With around £55,000 in total prize money its sure to be another classic.
The event takes place at ‘The Gleneagle Hotel’ in Killarney, one of the top 4 Star + hotels in the area. The hotel, which is also the venue offers free parking, a Leisure Centre, Jacussi, Pool, Three Restaurants, Bars, and all the first class facilities you would expect from a classic hotel.

Friday 14th October John McEvoy Gold Dart Classic Pro Tour Pre-Qualifying Players registration between 5pm and 6.30pm Prompt. “Toe the oche” 7pm Prompt. 32 Players will qualify for the finals on Sunday.
Format: Best of 7 legs x 501 Entry Fee: €30 per person
Lower age limit 16 years. Players registration from 5.00pm.

Format : Best of 11 legs x 501 Direct Entry Fee: €125 Total Prize Money €40,000 approx
As with other non-UK Players Championships, the tournaments will be open for entry to PDPA members and also for non-PDPA members resident outside the United Kingdom. This means that any player with a Republic of Ireland passport or eligible to receive a Republic of Ireland passport would be allowed to enter, along with other non-UK non-members from around the world. Lower age limit is 16 years.
Closing date for Pro Tour Final is 2.00pm Monday, October 3rd.

Format: Best of 5 legs 501 S/finals and finals 7 legs Entry Fee: €25 per person

Entries are open to players aged 14 and over, with an upper age limit of players needing to be aged 21
and under on January 3 2011 to be eligible to play in the PDC Unicorn Youth Tour events.
