Barney takes the Derby Players Championships with a 6-2 win over in form John Part.

In the Semi-Finals Barnaveld edged out Paul Nicholson 6-4, and Part overcame Aussie Simon Whitlock in a last leg decider 6-5 taking out 126 on the bull with Whitlock waiting on 45.

Barney started the day with a 6-3 win over Adrian Bolitho, a 6-5 last leg win over Jamie Caven then 6-2 over Irishman Brendan Dolan.

Two last leg deciders 6-5 against Co Stompe and Steve Farmer moved Barney to the semi-final stage.

A 6-3 win over Chris Thompson after a first round bye soon followed a resounding 6-0 win over in form Steve Brown. Then 6-2 against Michael Snith and 6-3 over Scot Gary Anderson moved the Canadian looking to continue his grest form following his win in Canada.
