The SkyBET World Matchplay quarter finals line-up is now finalised after wins last night from Taylor, Whitlock Newton and Hamilton. The Blackpool crowds will arrive this afternoon in fancy dress to the empress ballroom at the winter gardens to watch the 4 mouth watering quarter final matches. The first match at 1pm will feature Aussie Simon Whitlock v ‘the Hammer’ Andy Hamilton who beat favorite Gary Anderson in the first round. Following this Former BDO World Champion Mark Webster takes on current PDC World Champion Adrian Lewis. In the evening session Dutch Maestro Raymond van Barnaveld takes on former matchplay champion James Wade. The final quarter final will see local favorite Wes Newton take on the power Phil Taylor. The quarter finals are the best of 31 legs which will give all the players plenty of stage time in the heat of Blackpool.
