Phil ‘The Power’ Taylor will begin his SKYBET World Matchplay defence against Mark ‘Mile High’ Hylton at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool. Following the Dutch Darts Trophy, in Nuland, Holland the World Matchplay draw took place on Sunday evening. the event will feature;

Top 16 from the PDC Players Championship Order of Merit (Who are not in the top 16 of the OoM;
Phil Taylor, beat Raymond van Barnaveld in last years final, but Barney did hit the perfect 9 dart leg in his first round clash against Denis Ovens. This year he will play in form Bristol professional Steve Brown. Current World Champion Adrian ‘Jackpot’ Lewis is matched up against Kevin Painter, while Premier League Champion, and dual Players Championship winner last weekend Gary Anderson will feature against Andy Hamilton.
UK Open Champion, and former World Matchplay Champion James Wade is a Sunday night feature against Jame Caven.
