Paul Nicholson adds to his Players Championship tally by winning the Sunday Players Championship event in Crawley, he beat Terry Jenkins 6-3 with 5 consequetive legs to take the title and condem Jenkins to a second final defeat in 2 days. Earlier Nicholson had beaten Nicky Bache, Mark Frost and Mark Walsh to reach the quarter finals. Two final leg deciders against Steve Brown & Wes Newton respectively got him to the final. Terry Jenkins had won games against Andy Jenkins, Co Stompe and Darren Johnson to also  reach the quarter finals where he beat Mark Webster in a last leg decider and up coming star Scott Rand 6-4 in the Semi-Final.

Saturdays winner Gary Anderson suffered a second round loss to Spains Antonio Alcinas.
