DEAFinitely Darts!

DEAFinitely Darts is a PDC Official Charity event and you can make sure this is a huge success

As you know, SignHealth is the official charity partner of the PDC and we are holding a world record creating event on the 21st October 2010, to get the most people playing darts at any one time. The attached brochure explains how the event will work – anyone can join in.

Why SignHealth?
Darts is the largest participation sport for the deaf and it is a sport that deaf people can play on equal terms with hearing people.  It is therefore a great initiative for us to get behind.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Form a DEAFinitely Darts team of your own and play at the venue of your choice on the evening of 21st October.
Get 5 venues in your area to get involved.  If all PDPA members got five pubs to take part we would have 2,000 teams – which means we would hit the target to raise over £750,000!

OTHER IDEAS

Some of you have your own pub – sign up now to get involved.
Endorse the fundraising efforts of other venues, between now and October, be it your local pub or club. Lending your name to the event will undoubtedly create interest and add credibility. The SignHealth team has lots of fundraising ideas to add to the event and can tell you the locals that have registered in your area.

The aim of this event is to have FUN, raise loads of money and raise awareness of Deaf issues.

It will also bring the sport of Darts to a new and wider audience, which benefits us all

This is a unique opportunity for us all to engage with each other and to provide positive help for a good cause with deserving recipients.  As PDC stars you are in a good position to really make this event an extraordinary success.
