The PDPA supported The Christie Charitable fund by attending the charity dinner at Lancashire CCC, the 10 top PDPA professionals in attendance James Wade, Terry Jenkins, Adrian Lewis, Dennis Priestley, Alan Warriner, Mark Dudbridge, Kevin Painter, Colin Osbourne, Andy Hamilton and  Colin Lloyd. The night was advertised as the Mark Halsey dinner who himself is currently in remission from cancer.

The night was also attended by Sir Alex Ferguson, Roberto Mancini, Owen Coyle, Sam Allardyce, David Moyes, Wilf McGuiness, Gary Owen, Martin O’Neill, Kevin Davies, Jussi Jaaskelainen and many others, the evening MCs were John Gwynne and Geoff Shreeves.
