Current WDF World No 8 Mareno Michels switches to The PDC, the 26 year old from Dordrecht, Netherlands gained sponsorship from international company Finder and Dutch company Controlin who are at present his current employers to realise his dream of playing in The PDC with the best players in World Darts.

Mareno is also No 20 in the BDO Invitational Table, he is a former French, Hungarian and Open Holland winner, aswell as playing on the Lakeside stage a few years ago.

Mareno made his last BDO appearance at The 2010 BDO World Championships earlier this month losing in the last 32 to Scotlands John Henderson.

The first PDC Pro-Tour event of the year is The Gibraltar Players Championships 6th/7th February.
